in 2013 i will…
I’m not making resolutions, instead here are three things that are going to happen in 2013;
1. Pass final exams in May. I’ve only two subjects left and its time to just put the head down and get through it so that I can go back to pouring my energy into things that excite me like sewing the contents of my own wardrobe, dreaming of/planning for having my own fashion line, teaching myself to reupholster furniture, training, racing and trying to get better. All of which I can do After May.
2. Bathroom makeover. When I got my house it was in walk in live in condition. A bit dated in parts and not necessarily my style but I was able to move straight in. I’ve been doing bits and pieces, stripping walls and pulling up carpet downstairs but the one major undertaking that needs to be done is the bathroom. I need to research all my options, like showerheads that blast air along with the water so they’re more water efficient and thus balance my love of looooong showers, as well as more practical things like finding out how much of it I will need a tradesperson to do etc but it shall be done before the year is out.
3. Visit my friend in Australia. A fun one this, and falling at the back end of the year will be something to look forward to all year long, I’m calling it a reward for No.1!
These plans will obviously require some budgeting so I shall be sewing from my stash of fabric when sewing does occur (with the exception of tiramisu for which I have no suitable fabric) which really isn’t a hassle as my stash has only grown because I haven’t had time to sew up my planned projects.

Melbourne is the destination alright unless there’s a major change in the meantime, would be great to meetup – will keep ya posted once have actual plans
